Piper is a Junior who only recently took up journalism because of her interest in photography and learning about others. Since she was young, she has been capturing moments. When she was younger, she took pictures for her Girl Scout troop and even had some published on their website. To Piper, the only thing that feels more natural than writing is music. She has been playing instruments since she was 6, starting with the recorder. Through the years, she learned both alto and tenor saxophone, some guitar, and piano. She also was in band for three years and made Marshall Honor and All County 2nd chair. Piper did show choir her sophomore year as well, and was even in some of the musicals. She has a pretty open outlook on her future, with the hopes of either becoming a veterinarian, cosmetologist, or tattoo artist.
