Good Morning Braves

Today’s is National Read Across America Day. The day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help get kids excited about reading. The day occurs each year on the birthday of beloved children’s book author Dr. Seuss. A few of leading female characters include Sally Walden (The Cat in the Hat), Cindy Lou Who (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas), Mayzie McGrew (Daisy Head Mayzie) among others.

In the Words of Lorax, “Unless someone like you cares a whole lot, nothing is going to get better, it’s not.”

Thank you for caring Dr. Seuss
