-Congratulations to our Mock Trial Team and Coach French on their 4th place finish at the state competition.  

-Our Theatre 2 and 3 classes have joined together and will be performing their one act play “Ghostlight” thisThursday.The show starts at 6pm. Tickets will be sold at the door. $3 for students and $5 for adults. Please make plans to come out and support these amazingly talented students.

-This Friday at 6PM, the winter guard and winter percussion are having a community performance in the main gym. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Help send our Marching Braves off into the championship weekend by supporting them at this show!

-Do you have a passion for Music? Dancing? Or any other talents? Students in Action is holding a talent show March 22! Sign up for a chance to win 100 dollars in cash prizes! 

-Mark your calendars for these college visit days happening in March; most college reps will be found at a table in the commons area over your lunches but check with guidance for special meeting times if you have interest in any of the following colleges: This Wednesday USC Beaufort will be at lunch. March 27th Lander will be in the Media Center. And on the 28th HGTC will be back at lunch to assist with applications.

-The One Love Club and Advanced Theatre have teamed up and are hosting the One Love Benefit next Tuesday, March 26th at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $10 at the door. All the proceeds go to the One Love Foundation & Blessed Beginnings. Hope to see you there!

-Students that were nominated by a CTE teacher for National Technical Honor Society please submit your dues and application to Mrs. Gorcesky in room 138 by next Thursday. Thank you for doing this in a timely manner!

-Support your Braves jazz band in their second annual jazz dinner on April 26th, from 6:00 to 8:30, where we will host a spaghetti and chicken bog dinner fundraiser in the commons. The evening will feature our award-winning jazz band and the Forestbrook Middle jazz band, along with our solo and ensemble performers. Please see Mr. Jung if you are interested.

-ALL Senior Athletes need to stop by the Athletic Office before Spring Break and see Coach Gifford or coach Vinson to review their Senior Dinner information.

-Bravette Tryouts will be held April 22nd through the 24th from 3:30 until 6:00. All rising 9th and 12th graders are eligible. Please make sure that your PlanetHS physical and forms are completed prior to the 1st day of tryouts. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Harper.

-This past weekend Varsity Baseball Team lost to Conway. Corey Morris was 2 for 3 with a double and a homerun.

-JV and Varsity Men’s Soccer defeated St. James

-Track & Field team competed well this weekend in the Waccamaw Track & Field Invitational.  Autum Graham received a Bronze Medal in the Javelin, Sage Tyler received a Silver Medal in the Women 400-meter Hurdles, and Nathin Sims brought home the Gold Medal in the Men 400- meter Hurdles. 

-JV Women’s Soccer defeated St James, however Varsity lost.

-Softball lost to Conway.

Today Men’s Tennis will be at Myrtle Beach for their 6:00 matches.

JV and Varsity Men’s Lacrosse will be at Waccamaw. JV starts at 6:00 followed by Varsity at 7:45.

 

Women’s JV and Varsity Lacrosse will be hosting St. James tonight in Braves Stadium. JV takes the field at 6:00 followed by Varsity at 7:15.

Varsity Softball and Varsity Baseball will both be hosting St. James as well. Pitchers take the mound for both games at 6:00.
