Boys soccer had a successful season, finishing region champs.

The team’s record was 6-1 in the region and overall 7-4.

The team included 9 seniors and 9 freshmen, along with a few junior, so it took a while for them to gel, Senior Parker Dunn said. They also had a new coach, Spanish Teacher Mr. Memo Suarez, who was coaching girls soccer but took over for Officer Chris Miller, who left the school mid-year.

“We’ve gradually built chemistry and skill, and have been picking up our level of play,”  Parker said at the beginning of the season.

Freshman Ethan Medeiros also said the team was really working well together by the end of the season.

“I think the bonding between upperclassmen and lower classmen is definitely vital to our success,” he said.
