-Good Morning Socastee!
-We are proud to announce that Mrs. Cinnamon Adams has been selected as Socastee High School’s Employee of the Month! Mrs. Adams goes above and beyond every day to support our students and staff. Whether she’s connecting students with vital resources, providing guidance during difficult times, or organizing donation drives for our community, her compassion and dedication make a lasting impact. Her selflessness and commitment truly embody what it means to be a Brave. Thank you, Mrs. Adams, for making Socastee a better place for us all!
-This past Sunday, our Indoor Percussion Ensemble traveled to Fayetteville, NC to participate in the 2025 Atlantic Indoor Association Championships and walked away in first place, gold medaling for the second year in a row! Not only that, they had a 10 point spread between them and the second place group. Please congratulate your Marching Braves Percussionists for their Two-Peat! If you are interested in being a part of our band program, our first interest camp session is April 9th after school from 4:30 to 6:00. We welcome you to be a part of our Braves Band program!
-Week 28 Pools and Palms Athlete of the Week is Paige Bailey, Women’s Varsity Soccer. She scored 7 goals between the last 2 games combined, helping our team go 2-0 for the week. Paige has chosen to recognize Mrs. Urbaniak, who I believe has been chosen them most by our athletes. Paige just appreciates Lady Urb and what she did as a coach last season and her support of all Socastee Athletics. Lady Urb can always be seen mentoring students and spreading positivity throughout the school.
